All we need is the list of the charts and publications on board with the edition dates.We create our index in the system after that we inform to the vessels or ship owners any expired items requiring replacement then the new edition items in order to update the vessels.

From time to time it may become necessary for the vessels or local ship's agent to purchase additional charts and publications due to very limited time and urgency, it is important that we are notified of the items purchased so that computer records are amended to ensure correct monitoring of subsequent new editions.
